Web & Graphic Designer for WorldStores

We’re looking to hire a creative, efficient and customer focused web designer to join our ambitious team here in Twickenham. You will be responsible for all design projects, from new page or site designs and email templates to banners and promotions across different media.

Your main priority will be to develop and maintain WorldStores’ (and its sub-brands) visual identity, look and feel by creating design standards to ensure all design appears consistent, professional and on brand. You will be tasked with producing new and updated page designs and elements for the websites as required.

In our high volume transactional business, there is a continual need to showcase offers and promotions so you will be required to design promotional materials and content across digital and other formats, including banners and digital adverts for use both on WorldStores’ sites and across the web, as well as the odd bits of print media.

Ideally you will have retail web design experience, be able to create effective design solutions to clearly communicate retail information and promotions and be able to create enticing, eye-catching imagery to appeal to customers shopping and browsing interiors and garden products.

You will be able to provide an outstanding professional portfolio that includes web page, email and banner designs for online retail, ideally demonstrating designs that have produced commercial results and received strong customer and industry feedback.

As a mid-weight designer, you will be experienced with a variety of technology, but in particular, we are looking for you to possess technical skills in Photoshop, Fireworks, HTML and knowledge of the principles of CSS.
