Creative Artworker Surefoot Comms

The Company

Based in Berkshire we are a small, friendly and hard working creative design agency. Surefoot Communications are seeking a creative artworker with flair and passion for design to join our busy studio. Ideally you will have an agency background with at least 3 years experience. We are looking for a team player with a strong portfolio of mainly print based projects, to work with a wide range of clients across many different industry sectors. Experience in web design would be an advantage.

The Role

Working on some great client accounts, you will be required to provide new and innovative designs to meet our client briefs. Your main design duties will be to develop from scratch, or existing templates, print designs and concepts to meet client briefs. Working closely with other designers, you will be comfortable maintaining our high degree of professional service; delivering outstanding creative results to always exceed client expectations. You should display a great work ethic and will be a creative and expressive team player, fitting comfortably within a small but highly productive team in a fast-paced working environment. The ability to liaise well with our clients is also essential.

Job Details

You will be working on a variety of creative design & production projects, including but not limited to:

Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts to fit the overall brief

Adapting and creating from scratch:

Logo and brand design/ corporate identity

Retail and Campaign branded material

Direct Mail

Brochures & Mailers

In store marketing/POS

Large format graphics

Exhibition/display graphics

Email marketing

Estimating the time required to complete work

Preparing work to a print ready standard

General Role Requirements

Ability to communicate quickly and effectively

Ability to understand briefs and be able to develop creative ideas from them

Ability to work to tight deadlines under pressure

Able to change between projects while remaining focused

Key Skills

3 years plus experience in a graphic design based role

You must be fully proficient in adobe CS.

Digital/web knowledge would be a bonus but not essential

Experience working on print ready files for a full range of print production

The ability to produce and proof print-ready artwork

Must have genuine creative flair and meticulous attention to detail

The capability to organise, prioritise and meet deadlines

Confident working with people at all levels

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Enthusiasm, dedication and willingness to work hard

Salary
