We need an imaginative, logical interaction designer to bring intuition, harmony and general loveliness to the taskflows and templates of our business collaboration app, across desktop and mobile.

Productivity software can be pretty complex, but it should never feel difficult or confusing to the people who use it every day. We like experiences to feel simple, delightful and a joy to use. Like you, we're a fan of tools like Things and Evernote and how they really nail the interaction design to feel natural and pleasurable.
We know, you're probably thinking B2B isn't as sexy as working on the latest iPhone photo-filter-sharing app. But shouldn't it be? And really, that's where you come in. We work in the sector that good design forgot. If you want the chance to use your product design experience to make a real difference, read on.

About Us

We're on a mission to connect people with their content and their coworkers. A true Brit of Silicon Roundabout with big feet in Silicon Valley, we're a more grown-up, less risky startup choice. We've got the big-name customers (80% of the Fortune 500 and UK central government, and companies like KIA motors, AKQA and Boots) but we've also got the young and hungry culture, the outstanding benefits and stock options, and way too much free cake.

Our enterprise collaboration platform is available on the desktop, iPhone and iPad. We reckon having a seamless, cross-platform, drop-dead-gorgeous experience is the key to our ongoing success. Encouraging that kind of creativity is going to take a lot more of our circus parties, fun runs and movie nights.

About you

You love to think about complex interaction problems, and how to turn them into intuitive journeys that seem almost too obvious. You like to cast a critical eye over the tricks and techniques of desktop and mobile apps and see what makes them tick.
Half the time you're thinking about logical taskflow, the other half about human nature; going beyond mere usability to create the delight and temptation that motivates us to want to interact.

You've a frightening attention to detail when it comes to the gnarly stuff like exception flows, error states and validation. You've already solved some productivity app problems in your career and are ready to wow us with your portfolio.

You'll be:

• Designing interface elements and user journeys for our web application
• Helping to construct interactive prototypes for usability testing
• Building a library of reusable interaction patterns
• Attempting to resist the champagne and Krispy Kremes that lurk around every corner

Huddle is growing fast. Our Shoreditch, London office is around 100-strong, into which we're building a lean and mean UX team. You'd be working with other designers, and alongside creative and passionate developers and product managers.
We're Agile, and favour two-week iterations to keep things moving. Inside this process we're big on the research and testing your agency never let you do. We like to keep things as lean and realistic as possible. If you like to prototype using stuff like HTML, CSS and jQuery we'll be totally into you. But don't worry if you're more of a sketcher - mostly we're looking for someone who can think through a problem to the truly elegant solution.
