Senior Writer - Employer branding, internal communications and B2B sectors

Based primarily in Berkshire, with some work in Bishopsgate

At Groupbrand, we’re looking for a Senior Copywriter who wants more - more client exposure, more scope to develop big global brands, and more opportunities to take the lead on producing intelligent, thought-provoking creative. In short, we’re looking for someone who wants to take the next step towards becoming a Creative Director.

Your role

You’ll work with a suite of big international blue-chip brands across the UK, the US and beyond. Deutsche Bank, Nike, BAE Systems, AstraZeneca and Santander will all be in your client portfolio. Your primary focus will be the development of the creative output for our employer branding and internal communications business, but there’ll be opportunities to become involved in our B2B work, too. 

Working with a talented team of Art Directors, Designers and Writers, you’ll help craft intelligent, effective creative and digital work. From creating major multi-platform campaigns to mentoring junior writers, managing a programme of branding seminars for a worldwide brand, to delivering social media solutions that are the first of their kind, you’ll have a big impact.

The skills youll need

You’ll need to be an expert - at conceptualising, at writing and at developing brands. We’re looking for someone who is just as confident creating global brand messaging for an international financial organisation, as they are dreaming up an imaginative online game for a graduate recruitment campaign.

Of course, you’ll have plenty of experience creating both ideas and copy for executions across a huge range of media channels. You’re also a strong team player, who can share their expertise and enthusiasm across the creative team. Like us, you’re more interested in ideas than hierarchies. And like us, you believe that creative should be based on research and insight. You can combine analysis with imagination, to develop meaningful, effective brands, and inspiring creative executions that get results.
