Studio Design Manager for Gemma International

We are looking for an experienced, dynamic Studio Design Manager who will position Gemma as a ‘highly creative and design led’ publisher servicing external licensors, customers and all internal departments.

With fantastic creative expertise and great commercial awareness you will be accountable for and deliver all projects within agreed cost, time and quality parameters while inspiring and leading our design team to create market leading licensed and generic products.

You will fully contribute to strategic business discussions and as part of the senior team identify commercial opportunities for business growth being excited to drive innovation and proactive creative thinking to forward concepts for new product development. Alongside all of this you will deliver two model line product launches each year and manage customer specific briefs.

Our successful candidate will have at least 5 years management experience working in a commercial environment with product design, marketing, advertising, point of sale & visual concepts. You will demonstrate strong presentation & communication skills and have a thorough understanding of design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
