We are working with an internationally recognised entertainment company on an exciting opportunity for a strong designer/developer. This company has an excellent reputation for the service which it delivers to over 25 million users a month and is hoping to further develop the entertainment experience for its customers through their online offering. They are looking for someone who can join the International Marketing and Communication team to provide them with design and development support for marketing initiatives across all their products and services.

The suitable candidate for this role will have the ability to collaborate with other members of the international marketing team - providing support from concept stage, through visual design and development. Work will be both B2B and B2C, and you will be responsible for delivering pixel-perfect results. As part of the international team you will enjoy the responsibility of providing frequent support to teams across 15 EMEA countries, and should have an international perspective on both marketing and design initiatives.

With regards to technical ability, you will be an expert in Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML and CSS. A knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery and Flash is also preferable. Proven experience in delivering digital assets for websites, microsites, campaigns and social media will demonstrate your ability to do this job. You should also be able to articulate yourself well in order to liaise with teams across Europe to ensure projects are delivered on time and to the expected standard.

The following attributes are preferable:

  • A Creative Thinker with great attention to detail
  • A proven design process, methodology and principles
  • An end-to-end mentality, contributing from concept to delivery, both hands-on and in an overseeing capacity
  • Problem solver
  • HTML/CSS skills
  • Strong design/development experience
  • Willingness to learn

In return you will be rewarded with a competitive salary and compelling work. This is the perfect opportunity for a developer looking to move into a design-led role or a designer hoping to improve their development skills. If you’re interested, please get in touch with a CV and portfolio/work examples.
