Reporting to the Online Marketing Manager you will have the opportunity to learn key online marketing skills in a fast paced and rewarding environment. This is a hands-on search marketing position where you will be working on a range of market leading websites and you will build valuable experience in SEO, website optimisation and analytics.
The role:
We are looking for a skilled Video Editor to both shoot and edit video content efficiently, professionally and to tight deadlines.
The successful candidate will be a self-starting and self-assured individual with a passion for technology. You must be enthusiastic, creative and a confident communicator.
The role will involve working closely with the editorial team creating content around but not limited to new mobile handset reviews and comparisons, broadband issues, router reviews and how-to guides.
The Candidate
The selected candidate will have a stellar portfolio of work encompassing a variety of video formats.
He/she will be passionate, a good team player and happy to be the port of call for all company video related content.
Responsibilities:
• To come up with creative and innovative ideas for video content for pitch to editorial manager
• To shoot and edit video content
• Ensure videos are edited and delivered in timely fashion and to strict deadlines
• To shoot presenter led interviews with industry experts/leaders
Essential key skills / experience:
• Experience of numerous video editing software packages
• Time management
• Proactive, well-organised and a team player
• 1-2 years experience in video editing/shooting
Desirable:
• Experience of working in the tech or telecommunications sector
• University educated
This is initially a contract/temporary role with a view to perm in the future.
