As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will cover web-based projects on a hugely popular customer-facing website (and back office application). The majority of the applications are built in Ruby On Rails (RoR), but there are some mobile applications too. You`ll work within an Agile team delivering user stories / features and ensuring that quality developments are delivered in to production using a Test Driven Development approach.

Skills: - Ruby / Rails experience in a commercial environment. - Understanding of MVC design patterns. - SQL and MySQL. - Solid *nix command-line skills. - GIT (with extensive branching/merging). - Good exposure/participation with high-traffic/scalable websites. - Programming practices including release procedures (Capistrano). - Understand XP and Scrum; pair programming & Test Driven Development.
