Creative Marketing Executive

A leading Business Solutions company is seeking a Creative focused Marketing Executive to joing their marketing team. A great role for someone looking for a well rounded marketing experience to build on their experience.

Job Function:

To support the Marketing Department and Sales Teams in generating new creative ideas to improve the overall customer brand engagement and online/ offline communications

The ideal candidate will be able to implement marketing principles including:
- Using creative design skills to develop online, email and direct marketing campaigns
- Managing email communications and social media
- Handling enquiries from potential new accounts

Key Responsibilities:

Online:
• Creating and sending communications
• Creating artwork for the web including web banners, imagery, promotions artwork
• Support in delivering content for websites as and when required
• Monthly reporting on email and social media campaigns
• Manage direct marketing activities (direct mail, EDM, web content) to agreed timescales

Print:
• Creating artwork for print including bespoke channel collateral, print samples and promotional campaign material etc

Additional:
• General department administration; general email and telephone inquiries
• Responding to channel enquiries including print sample requests, brochures and general product information
• Manage product literature, brochures, spec sheets, print samples and sales tools
• Assisting in event and show activities
• Develop and create ideas for marketing to major accounts and End Users

Personal Specification:

Must have marketing experience and a marketing or business qualification. This needs to be complemented by creative and design skills and ideally experience of email tools and social media exposure.

General:

Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit
Mature, credible, and comfortable in dealing with senior company executives
Keen for new experience, responsibility and accountability
Able to get on with others and be a team-player
Flexible to travel to other locations when required, and stay over night when necessary

Computer skills:

Must be adept in use of Adobe photoshop/ inDesign / Illustrator, adobe flash or similar, Windows XP particularly Excel and Word, Database to basic level, social media and email too

Business and Selling Skills:

Must be an excellent face-to-face and telephone communicator.
