Front end Developer / PM

Our client, a major player in the financial industry, is looking for an entrepreneurial front end developer/ project manager to join their team, working across various development projects directly, as well as project managing contractors. This role markets directly to retail audiences so you'll need strong B2C experience and a great knowledge of marketing to this audience. You will be responsible for the continuous development of marketing related IT projects and systems, working with the marketing manager, designers and agencies to ensure projects are on time and on spec. You will need to demonstrate industry knowledge and the ability to keep up to date with all emerging technologies and design techniques.

They are looking for a candidate that is an experienced front end developer with project management experience who is able to produce and implement various IT projects to a high standard. You'll be a bright and clear communicator, who is happy to swap between direct “client” interaction, and taking direction from the account management team. Looking after the whole of the marketing/sales IT infrastructure, the role includes a large amount of project management with outsourced development projects as well as in house development and QA of delivered projects.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing development of external projects

- Implement changes to infrastructure and QA delivered projects

- Server administration and data management

- Participating in marketing meetings

- Ensuring that all completed work is thorough, accurate, time bound and within corporate constraints, both technically and creatively.
