About me

I'm a fast learning, quick to adapt Account Manager with excellent interpersonal skills that thrives on new challenges, problem solving and making things happen.

I have a great client relationship, Team management and project management background having worked as a Senior Account Manager onsite with our Client Superdrug and Christie's auction house. Dealing with high pressure, fast turnaround projects. I've managed a team of 3 account managers. Before that as Print and publishing manager I was the manager of a small design studio being the direct line and traffic manager of a creative team, this gave me knowledge of the creative suite apps Phothoshop, Illustrator, Indesign and acrobat, as well as Quark and font management software, I was the first line support for 4 macs and a network attached server / back up device.

I've worked in the management and purchasing side of the print industry for the last 25 years. Following a COVID related redundancy I'm now motivated to take my skill set and move into an IT role that I can be passionate about and once again enjoy the job I have.

I have a strong interest in IT and Digital media having created home websites I have an understanding of HTML and CMS and a good understanding of IT systems, having looked after a couple of personal clients setting up and maintaining home networks and new computer installs, IN my personal time at home I have rebuilt and upgraded PC's and macs, installed new OS's in Mac, Linux and Windows. I have played with home networking to improve and or block network traffic depending on requirements, reconfigured an old Router to be a WAP and switch. So although I don't have commercial IT experience I do have a good understanding and have been doing this for fun.

I'm currently available with no notice and I'm looking forward to the next challenge in my career.
