About me

I read English at Cambridge University, and have an MFA in Film from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts.

At Tisch I attended lectures by Ken Danzyger on genre and cross genre story.

Ten years later I had the opportunity to put genre theory into practice, at Ken's workshops centered around my own and others' screenplay ideas, at the Binger Film Lab in Amsterdam. At the Binger I acquired a new set of screenwriting tools and completed a parallel course in script editing.

Having written ten screenplays and given notes on dozens more, I bring my first hand experience of the creative process to my dialogue with screenwriters and producers. As a script editor I work to help writers clarify their personal vision and present their stories in a compelling, cinematic way.

I wrote and directed the feature documentary ORIGINAL CHILD BOMB and the crime thriller COLD HARBOUR. I work primarily in English.
