Preqin

The only way out of the current climate crisis is if there is a major restructuring in the financial sector and incentivised investment in renewable businesses and strategies, in the financial world we call these ESG products. (Environmental and Social Governance). Leading the vanguard of enlightening the financial industry about ESG, Preqin are one of the world’s largest business data and intelligence providers for the Private Capital market which includes Hedge Funds, Investors, Fund Managers and Private Capital institutions.

Preqin wanted a website which has full CMS edit capability, with link up to the data store in Amazon cloud, an events engine and full Shopify integration. Aligned with this the site needed to be completely responsive throughout. Prevously the website was built on .Net with everything being hard coded, many section of the site were not mobile friendly, making it a nightmare for the marketing team to change anything. However the new site is now built on a CMS platform, enabling the Preqin Marketing Team to have full edit capability as well as being able to manage their own Shopify store linked up to the site.

Preqin Pro - cutting-edge capital market tools

Over the course of 2 contract stints in 2 years I helped Preqin shape and define their new flagship product 'Preqin Pro' as well as working across other key products, ensuring investors and fund managers now have the world's most advanced tools to analyse data and make decisions quickly in an area where a lot of data exists. Successfully launching the flagship product in 2019, I worked as a Senior UX alongside a close team of fintech specialists, workshopping and wire-framing functional and business requirements for all subscriber levels, creating high and low-fidelity prototypes and testing hypothesis where complex journeys needed validation (online and face to face user testing sessions)
