Acorns is an app, free to download, that proactively invests your spare change from everyday transactions into your very own diversified portfolio. You can easily get started in minutes: anytime, anywhere. Simply connect a credit card or debit card and a checking account and tell us about yourself. Acorns will automatically recommend a stock portfolio based on information like your age, time horizon, investment goals and the amount of risk you’re comfortable taking.

It is important for us to make sure that the app has an intuitive design so that Acorns gives investors a clear visualization of their investments and historical account growth. Thus, for this design project, our approach focused on making sure that all the screens in the app were clearly presented to our users. Whether it is our home screen or our portfolio screen, our design goal is to make the experience as seamless as possible.
