We were briefed to change the way people shopped for paint, steering them from the traditional off the shelf range to a process by which they customised their paint in store – thus creating a more valuable product.
We responded by designing and creating a new in store shopper experience for paint mixing which facilitated the paint selection process,. This included a touchscreen and scanner to allow consumers to scan any coloured item and get a paint that exactly matches and 3D navigational fins so that shoppers can easily segment the process of choosing paint into 4 key steps.
